Little John understands the birdsong and listens carefully to their conversations – the king will face a series of tricks and dangers, and only Little John is willing to save him at all costs. However, every time Little John saved the king, a part of his body grew more stones, and eventually his whole body became a stone statue. The king regretted it and mourned the faithful little John day and night. A year later, under the king’s painstaking efforts, little John finally miraculously resurrected. Our Lady’s Child

Once upon a time, a poor wood-cutter and his wife lived near a great forest with their three-year-old daughter. They struggled to provide for her and often went without food. One day, while the wood-cutter was working, a beautiful woman with a crown of stars appeared before him. She introduced herself as the Virgin Mary and offered to take the wood-cutter’s daughter to heaven to care for her. The wood-cutter agreed, and the girl was taken to heaven where she was treated like royalty.

Years later, when the girl was fourteen, the Virgin Mary entrusted her with the keys to the thirteen doors of heaven. The girl was warned not to open the thirteenth door, but her curiosity got the best of her. She opened the door and saw the Trinity sitting in fire and splendor. She was overwhelmed and touched the light, which turned her finger golden. She immediately regretted her actions and ran away in fear.

When the Virgin Mary returned and asked for the keys, the girl lied and said she had not opened the forbidden door. The Virgin Mary saw through her lie and banished her from heaven. The girl fell to earth and lived a miserable life in a wilderness.

Years later, a king found the girl and fell in love with her. They got married, and she gave birth to three children. However, each time she denied opening the forbidden door, the Virgin Mary took one of her children away. The people accused her of being a man-eater, and she was sentenced to be burned alive. As she was about to die, she confessed her sin, and the Virgin Mary forgave her, returning her children and granting her happiness for the rest of her life.

The Frog Prince

Once upon a time, there was a King who had several beautiful daughters. The youngest one was so stunning that even the sun was amazed by her beauty. She would often go to a well in a dark wood near the castle and play with a golden ball. One day, she accidentally dropped the ball into the well and began to cry. Suddenly, a frog appeared and offered to retrieve the ball in exchange for the promise of being her companion, eating from her plate, and sleeping in her bed. The princess agreed, thinking it was impossible for the frog to leave the water. However, the frog kept his promise and returned the ball.

The next day, the frog appeared at the castle and demanded to be let in to be with the princess. Despite her reluctance, the King ordered her to keep her promise. The frog ate from her plate and then asked to sleep in her bed. The princess was horrified but had to comply with her promise. In a fit of anger, she threw the frog against the wall, only to discover that he was a prince under a spell. The prince and princess fell in love and left for his kingdom in a carriage drawn by white horses. The prince’s faithful servant, who had suffered greatly when his master was a frog, accompanied them and was overjoyed at his master’s transformation. As they traveled, the servant’s heart was so relieved and happy that the bands around it broke.
